Couples traveling from Europe, Asia, or from most non-English speaking countries can be married in Jamaica, yet they may face great difficulties in legalizing their marriage in the country in which they reside.

Some countries require that all the legal procedures be done from here in Jamaica while others countries will only require a few documents, as the legalization can be done by the newlyweds themselves, in their respective countries.

Countries that require legalization include Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia, and Mexico.
